Amy Poehler throws "Parks and Rec" characters in 'Game of Thrones' (photos)

It is no secret that the writers of "Parks and recreation" love "Game of Thrones".

The last few seasons contain at least one reference-"what's wrong with you today? Cancel 'Game of Thrones'?"-for the popular HBO drama. And in a new interview with Time Out New York, star of the series Amy Poehler fantasized about how would fit in its cast of "Parks and Rec" in "game of Thrones.

"Well, come on, of course, would be Khaleesi [Daenerys Targaryen]," Poehler said, referring to his character's Leslie Knope. "Ben would probably be Jon Snow, because he is so tormented. Ron would be Stannis Baratheon."

Time Out New York suggested Tammy 2 (Megan Mullally) as Ron (Nick Offerman) Melisandre. "Yes! And Tom would be... UH oh, hate to break to Aziz [Ansari], but Tom would be as Theon Greyjoy, now is not good. Ann would be Sansa, April would be Arya, and Andy would be one of the Dragons. [Laughs]"
