Rudy Giuliani laughs at Weiner, Spitzer, says surprised NYC

WASHINGTON - New Yorkers not elect Eliot Spitzer or Anthony Weiner, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Wednesday when HuffPost asked how he felt about the wave of attention to the libidinous infamous former politicians, who now seek redemption and a return to the Office.

But first, he laughed, that often surprises with his hometown.

"Don't know, New York is a place that constantly surprise you," said Giuliani, after testifying before a House Committee of Homeland Security hearing in the bombing of the Boston Marathon.

Weiner - former Congressman who finally resigned after Tweeting photos of his penis - had the attention to itself with its offer of Mayor of New York, to Spitzer - notorious former Governor of New York who resigned amid a prostitution scandal — he decided this week to mount his return for the operation of the Office of the Comptroller of the city.

"I think that in both cases there are better candidates for both offices that is one of them," said Giuliani's two Democrats. Let your fellow Republican and former Deputy Mayor Joe Lhota, Mayor.

"There are other very good candidates both in the Republican side and the largest Democratic side - much better than Anthony Weiner," he said. "In the case of Mr. Spitzer, I think there are better candidates for Comptroller one of them, and I think that the people of New York will make that decision ultimately."
