NEW YORK (AP)--Valerie Harper has decided to give an account of the first person of his battle with terminal cancer to NBC News.
The network says that Meredith Vieira will host the documentary, which will air in primetime. No airdate has not been established.
The actress rose to fame playing Rhoda Morgenstern on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" TV and "Rhoda." She announced this year that she has been diagnosed with brain cancer. It gives just three months to live when he was diagnosed on March 6, that she has now passed.
NBC says that the 73-year-old Harper allowed cameras to follow her since she was diagnosed.
