There are rumors that are swirling new daytime program that Katie Couric will not be renewed for a third season, the New York Post reported Monday.
Staff of Couric has had a high turnover since the departure of Jeff Zucker, who left to run the CNN in January. Sources told the Post that the changes have created a "stressful" situation with "personal rarity" and "no one decision-making." The newspaper reported that there have also been rumors that Couric could leave after the second season to Zucker on CNN.
Sources close to Couric, however, denied the rumors.
Zucker leaving the show, there are a number of important staff shakeups. Michael Morrison, formerly the Executive producer of "The Martha Stewart Show", replaced it, only to leave a few months later in middle of reports that he had been "marginalized." Michael Bass, another top producer, also left to join Zucker on CNN.
"Katie" was renewed for a second season at the beginning of this year. It was the program of the gatherings, which premiered in September 2012. The show also appeared to be hit in their path, as Couric scored tablespoons with Manti tea ' or and wanted to balance news interviews with loose day segments.
