Father's day is for the parents. Do you should read if you are divorced from the father of their children can sit, relax and not have to worry of organising gifts and celebrations for the day, right? Not good.

The minimum that can be done is to tell their children how they intend to show their appreciation by his father and if they need help, they can be given some sincere and thoughtful ideas. There are many reasons why you would want to do this.

1 Is the father of their children. Their children would not exist without it. Many women say no they should have gotten married, but that is always followed by, "... but then I have to my children." I have everything to hear somebody say wish not to have children.

2 Will always be the father of their children. Children should never have to choose one parent over the other. Speaking with their children on the day of the father, we are showing their children that do not have to choose and not have to hide his love for his father from you.

3 Shares the responsibility for the upbringing of children. Both you and your ex can not see eyes in the upbringing of children and they may have different rules, his different perspective can help to improve and strengthen their parenting. And when the going gets tough, helps any further reinforcement of consequences and discipline.

4 Activities with your children that you not. There are plenty of activities that I am willing to try especially if my kids ask me, but some definitely... not fishing, paintball, auto maintenance to name a few. I'm not wild about camping either. My ex, on the contrary it is happy to do all this and are grateful that you it's "their activities". It is a win - win all.

5 His time with parents means leisure for you. This is a no-brainer. When children are with their father means alone time for you, doing anything you choose, or we need to do. It makes life a little easier.

6 Is a better father than a husband. This could be a difficult reality for you, but it is a victory for children. Read the numbers 1 and 2 again.

7 Has become a better father since his divorce. If your ex has intensified his game of breeding since her divorce, it is likely that I've thought, "if only you did while we were married." Well, I wasn't, and as frustrating as it may be, it could be change in the dynamics of the relationship that has allowed this. Their participation is good for their children and that can be thankful...

8 All about her marriage was not bad. With the divorce, it is easy to remember the bad times, the fights, disagreements, ugliness, but in reality probably had some good moments too. There were moments when you each other did laugh and times when you had fun family trips.

Is my ex an avid skier, dare, obsessed? We were a family of ski. I became a skier much better thanks to him and our children have been skied since they were small children. We had a fun holiday, visited a lot of different ski runs and some of our friends of ski are still my friends today. This past winter, my daughter joined her college ski racing team and experienced the unique camaraderie of a college sports team. A love of skiing is one of the gifts of my ex to us.

9. You were right after each other. While you are no longer a couple, it chose to be together for a reason. Their relationship is part of your journey through life and is part of its growth, even if it means growing apart. It is a part of who you are today.

To help their children honored his father in his day which is also teaching your children an important skill and valuable life about showing appreciation for others. It is a skill to be used as they make their way through school, College, and the workplace. If that is not sufficient justification to appreciate his ex this father's day, then consider this: mother's day is 330 days!
