James Franco Gay jokes during the roast of Comedy Central discussed report' Rubin'

Dave Rubin of the "Rubin report" took Comedy Central task the barrage of jokes directed at James Franco gay during his roast of actor nominated for the prize of the Academy earlier this month. (Warning: contains graphic language)

Joining Rubin were Erin Foley comedian and producer Jayar Jackson, both of which were critical of the event.

"This was only is another example of what happens in nationwide comedy clubs - is stupid types straight to making gay jokes," said Foley. "They don't know James Franco... sincerely, it is absolutely ridiculous."

Jackson stung even fewer words, stating, "call it a written sh * t talk night instead of a roast."

For its part, Franco does not seem to mind speculation gay. Last week, told The Daily Beast: "I don't care if people think I'm gay, and was like, ' Awesome!'" That is, I wish that it was. … I hope that I was gay."
