Eric Cantor referred to push immigration reform could force House members to do things like 'Read words'

House of Eric Cantor (R-VA.) majority leader told Yahoo! News' Chris Moody you're worried that the approval of the Senate's comprehensive immigration reform bill could put it in the position of having to read some words that are published in English. And it might not be the end to the widespread need for members of Congress to do the same:

"I can't tell you what is in that project's big Senate Bill and well over 1,000 or 1,500 pages that can be, and that's my concern...I don't know if you could ask much of the senators, what is in that project. "And that is my concern."

As always, you pointed out that when several members of the House were kvetching about how they should read House health reform bill, people above computational Legal Studies said that "those who practice of typography of the Congress of the United States know that the printed version of a draft law contains a significant amount of spaces including non-trivial space between lineasgrandes headers and marginsan integrated table of contents and large font. "Therefore, a simple page has"greatly exaggerates the actual length of [the] mind." CLS went on to note that House health reform bill had 363.086 words. On the contrary, "Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix" contained 257,000 words.

Two additional data points:

1. "Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix" is a book for young children.

2 "Almost one of every five members of Congress charged twice."

Suck it up, Eric.
