Airline India GoAir - apparently - does its best to lighten their aircraft and improve fuel efficiency.
As (who more?) Ryanair before it, the airline has decided to only hire female hostesses light in the future, since males are - in general - heavier. Taking a page from the Playbook of Ryanair, the airline will also reduce the size of the magazine during the flight and the amount of water in water tanks from its fleet.
The airline currently has about 130 Assistant men's flight, which cannot be dismissed. Yet over the next seven years, GoAir plans to install some 80 aircraft and cabin future expected 2,000 recruits will be women only.
But will it really work? A former Executive without a name with an Indian legacy carrier said the first Post, "there are countless number of things that an airline can do to reduce the weight. For example, can reduce the weight of the food and water that is carried on board, covered light use, rising only so much fuel as necessary depending on the duration of flight etc. GoAir uses the fleet of Airbus 320 which means would have, on average, four flight crew members. If even one of them is male, do a big weight difference?"
The physical characteristics of the flight staff has been a concern of airlines in many previous cases, also. In August 2010, Turkish Airlines gave 28 crew members six months to lose weight or she would be dismissed. In March 2011, Thai Airways employees equipped requires BMI and measurements of the waist line and told them that he has six months to lose the weight. And finally, in March of this year, Nok Air launched ratings for your ideal cabin of your Facebook page. She "must have a weight in proportion to height" and "do not use dental appliances, must be" for example.
