Athens, June 21 (Reuters) - the smallest party in the Coalition ruler of Greece was established in remove the Government on Friday after a row over the abrupt closure of the State broadcaster, leaving the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras sharply reduced majority in Parliament.

Democratic left most of the party's legislators were in favor of pulling his ministers from the Government of Samaras who held emergency talks, said a party official.

In a defiant speech to the Greeks after midnight, Samaras said he was willing to move forward without the leftists.

"I want us to continue together as we started but I'm going to spend in any way," Samaras said in a statement televised after the collapse of three talks on the future of the radio station and television ERT.

"Our goal is to conclude our effort to save the country, always with a term of four years in our eyes. We hope for the support of the democratic left.

Officials of the party, said Democratic left leader Fotis Kouvelis had advised lawmakers of 14 of the party to pull its two Ministers and two Deputy Ministers in the Cabinet. At least one of the legislators was in favor of staying in the Government.

The row coincided with a hitch again in Greece international bailout, with the discovery of a potential gap due to the reluctance of some euro-area central banks refinance their holdings of Greek Government bonds.

Greek Government bonds 10 years yield rose to its highest since the end of April, in the course of its further rise daily from July 2012, while Greek stocks fell 4 percent.

Conservative Party of new democracy of Samaras and his PASOK Socialist ally together have 153 members, a majority in the Parliament's 300 members of the country.

That means that they could manage without the democratic left, but a departure from the party would be a blow, which is more difficult to pass unpopular reforms demanded by foreign lenders and emboldening the left hard opposition waiting in the wings.

"The Government may not last long in its new form." It will start the give-and-take, there will be more crises, they may not make reforms, '' said John Loulis, a political analyst.

"At some point we will have early elections whose outcome cannot be predicted."

Officials of the three parties ruled out for now, snap elections that would derail strengthening bailout program.

A continuous inspection visit to Greece by the European Union and the International Monetary Fund should be completed as planned in July to avoid problems of financing lenders said Thursday. Require new cost-saving measures to plug the gap.

At least two independent legislators have suggested support Government of Samaras, who came to power a year ago in an uncomfortable Coalition pro-bailout to ensure that Greece stayed in the euro zone, after spending almost in bankruptcy.

The coalition has discussing a range of issues policy of austerity to immigration, and Samaras parties lawmakers have accused Democratic left block reforms of the public sector needed to guarantee bailout funds.

The latest crisis began 10 days ago when Samaras abruptly yanked, stretching, ERT public radio and television air station and fired its 2,600 workers, causing an outcry from its two allies, unions and journalists.

Calling it a "sin" and "waste" hotbed of political patronage, Samaras said that the movement was necessary to hit objectives dismissals Greece public sector lenders from the EU and the IMF.

After initially refusing to restart the ERT, Samaras said Thursday it had offered during talks with allies to hire some 2,000 workers at a new station, a compromise accepted by PASOK, but rejected by the democratic left.

"We no longer have black screens on TV channels from the State but we are not going to return to the regime of sin," he said.

But Kouvelis stressed on behalf of the democratic left that all workers be rehired, saying the subject matter was much larger than that of State television broadcasts.

"This issue is... fundamentally a problem of democracy," Kouvelis said. "We are not responsible for the fact that there was not any common ground".

Evangelos Venizelos, PASOK, the Socialist Party leader who has been decimated by the Greece debt crisis and would probably lose more ground in a new election, also called in Kouvelis to remain in the coalition.

"The situation for the country, the economy and its citizens is particularly serious," said Venizelos. "We want the Government to continue as a tripartite Government."

PASOK would continue backing the Government even without the democratic left, the party spokesman, said Dimitris Karydis.

Greece administrative High Court, on Thursday upheld a previous ruling suspends closure of ERT and asking for a temporary station, reduced to go on the air immediately.

ERT is off air despite the ruling on Monday ordering return to even if workers have continued issuing a pirate version of 24 hours on the Internet from its headquarters.

Kanye West debuted "Yeezus," his sixth studio album, to a crowd of critics, fans and celebrities on Monday night at an event equal parts listening party and public art exhibition.

The festivities took place at Manhattan's Milk Studios, but rather than following the countless PR and fashion events that Mlik has hosted before, West instead chose the Meatpacking District building's loading dock. Attendees were let in one by one, a slow process that would have led one to believe that only a select few were being given the privilege of the record. That was not the case: The venue was open to the street, so anyone within earshot could hear the album which had hitherto been shrouded in secrecy, and anyone within eyesight could see the basic video imagery that went along with the audio.

That's in keeping with West's public -- and global -- debut of "New Slaves," but there's more to the theme than a simple stunt. Though the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Busta Rhymes, Theophilus London, Timbaland and Q-Tip stopped by, West seemed most pleased to see that his work had the potential to be heard by passersby. Long after Jay-Z and Beyonce had stopped their all-out, hands-in-the-air dance-along to the vibrant album, West became excited when a city bus drove by and grabbed the microphone to remark on the fact that the event was "out here in the middle of New York City blasting music and nobody is shutting us down."

West also put one matter of confusion to rest: "I want to explain something about the album title. Simply put, 'West' was my slave name and 'Yeezus' is my god name."

By this point, hear the end of the second spin of the album, West was decidedly free-spirited, dancing and shaking hands with fans. It was easily his happiest public appearance in months, a period during which bloggers noted West's perma-scowl. At the start of the night, West seemed more antsy, rattling off a series of somewhat curious justifications, saying he didn't release singles because he didn't enjoy seeing his work on YouTube next to "related artists" ("When you buy a Louis-Vuitton bag..."), reminding fans that his father was in the Black Panthers and letting the crowd know that didn't hear Joy Division's music when he was growing up. It made sense at the time, but it was certainly a stream-of-consciousness diatribe.

"I had to learn about giving, this whole album is about giving -- this whole process is about giving ... no f--ks at all," West said after memorably explaining his new outlook as such: "I have a new strategy, it's called 'no strategy.' I have a plan to sell more music it's called 'make better music.'"

West revealed that Daft Punk worked on "three or four" songs on the album (including "Black Skinhead," "On Site" and "I Am a God"). Other details: Chief Keef, King Louie, Kid Cudi and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver appear on the record, C-Murder lines get sampled, as does Billy Holiday. Keef and Vernon actually appear on the same song, "Can't Handle My Liquor," which West revealed was added and rounded out the album to 10 tracks. West confirmed that Rick Rubin was brought in to help finish the album, a development West said was a blessing and an inspirational experience ("Everything I've been doing, from the 'New Slaves' video to the album with no artwork, I've been thinking, 'What would Rick Rubin do'?").

All in all, it was a triumphant night for West, who made sure to give every member of his team a shout-out and reminded the audience to surround themselves with the best. "If I'm standing next to someone, that means they're smarter than me," he said, shirt soaked with sweat, before leaving a bit past midnight. "If I'm standing next to someone, that means they're better at something than I am."

"Yeezus" is out June 18 on Def Jam. There are no pre-release singles or pre-orders.

Senate Immigration Debate Shows Party Divisions Ahead Of Vote

WASHINGTON, June 6 (Reuters) - A misfired email from a U.S. Internal Revenue Service employee in Cincinnati alerted a number of Washington IRS officials that extra scrutiny was being place on conservative groups in July 2010, a year earlier than previously acknowledged, according to interviews with IRS workers by congressional investigators.

Transcripts of the interviews, reviewed by Reuters on Thursday, provided new details about Washington managers' awareness of the heightened scrutiny applied by front-line IRS agents in Cincinnati to applications for tax-exempt status from conservative groups with words like "Tea Party" in their names.

A political furor over the practice has engulfed the tax agency for nearly a month since a senior IRS official publicly apologized for it at a conference. Since then, the IRS' chief has been fired by President Barack Obama, the FBI has mounted an investigation and Congress has held numerous hearings.

The transcripts show that in July 2010, Elizabeth Hofacre, an IRS official in Cincinnati who was coordinating "emerging issues" for the agency's tax-exempt unit, was corresponding with Washington-based IRS tax attorney Carter Hull.

In April 2010 Hofacre had been put in charge of handling tax-exempt status applications from conservative groups by her Cincinnati supervisor.

She was asked to summarize her initial findings in a spreadsheet and notify a small group of colleagues, including some staff in the Washington tax-exempt unit. However, she sent her email to a larger number of people in Washington by accident.

"Everybody in DC got it by mistake," Hofacre said in the transcripts. She later clarified that she did not mean all officials but those in the IRS Exempt Organizations Rulings and Agreements unit.

The Cincinnati office, where IRS reviews of applications for tax-exempt status were centralized, used a "be-on-the-lookout" (BOLO) list that included the words "Tea Party" and "Patriot" for flagging applications for extra review.

This practice has drawn criticism. However, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, which closely studied the matter, has said no evidence exists that the list was created by high-level IRS officials, or political officials in the U.S Treasury or the White House.

Lois Lerner, the IRS official who set off the controversy, has said that she first learned of the BOLO list in June 2011, and that she ordered the partisan criteria to be removed immediately. The Treasury inspector general backed up that statement.

Neither Hofacre, nor a second IRS worker in Cincinnati, Gary Muthert, knew who asked for the partisan names to be added to the BOLO list in the first place, the transcripts showed.

Still, Muthert said that when his supervisor in Cincinnati initially asked him to look for "Tea Party" applications, "he told me Washington, D.C. wanted some cases," according to his interview with congressional investigators.

Hofacre, however, indicated that a Cincinnati official told her to use the criteria. That official "told me what I needed to put on this particular BOLO list," Hofacre said, referring to the list for Tea Party cases only.

Hofacre lashed out at Washington officials for attributing the extra scrutiny to the staffers in Cincinnati. "It was a nuclear strike on us," she told congressional investigators. (Editing by Kevin Drawbaugh)

Dressed to kill at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards on Monday night in New York, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn was reportedly called out of the event to undergo a mandatory drug test.

Tiger Woods' new girlfriend was accompanying fashion designer Cynthia Rowley to the event -- dressed in the designer's custom made white gown -- when she got a call from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that it was time to pee in a cup, as first reported by the New York Post.

Vonn's spokesperson and the USADA later confirmed the test to The Associated Press.

"She understands it is part of the job," Lewis Kay, Vonn's spokesman, told The Associated Press via email Wednesday.

As Fashionista's Nora Crotty quipped: "Nothing says high fashion like peeing in a cup whilst Anna Wintour schmoozes nearby, right?"

The skier reportedly passed the test and enjoyed the rest of the evening. Thankfully there was plenty of champagne to wash away any embarrassment that might have endured.

"We appreciate her professionalism and for accommodating this process, which at times can be inconvenient," USADA spokeswoman Annie Skinner told The Associated Press.

Although Woods wasn't with her at the event, Vonn said she was content with their relationship.

"We just are happy," she told People Magazine. "We're similar. We're both at the top of our sports, and we relate really well to each other."

Rob Portman, Steve Chabot Talk IRS Scandal With Tea Party Activists

CINCINNATI — A Republican senator and a congressman from Ohio said Wednesday night that the key question about the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status is who in the Obama administration was involved.

Sen. Rob Portman and Rep. Steve Chabot spoke to a hundreds-strong gathering of tea party activists in near Cincinnati, which has been a focus, or "ground zero," as one tea party leader called it, of the IRS probe following disclosures that agency employees there subjected conservative groups for additional, often burdensome scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt status.

"The question is, `How high up did it go?'" Chabot said, adding: "And what's going to be done about it?"

The Obama administration has said no senior officials were involved in targeting.

Chabot said investigations are still unfolding, and it's important to follow the facts and not to overreach in drawing conclusions. Portman linked the IRS scandal to the Benghazi attack investigation, and both he and Chabot said the Obama administration must be more forthcoming.

Portman said he finds it hard to believe that a couple of "rogue agents" in Cincinnati were responsible for the conservative targeting and that it was done as an efficiency measure to handle a large number of applications, as was initially suggested. IRS employees in Cincinnati have declined requests for comment, but some former workers in the office have said it was nonpolitical and that they doubt there were any partisan motivations.

Portman said he hoped whistle-blowers would come forward to let people know what happened.

He reiterated that a special prosecutor could be needed to investigate the IRS case, although he's not calling for it yet. He said the possibility of a criminal investigation should at least be used as leverage to push for answers from the Obama administration.

Otherwise, Portman said, "We're going to have to go up to the next level."

GOP U.S. Rep. Brad Wenstrup, a doctor, said the IRS targeting raises troubling questions about how the Obama health care law changes will be carried out, saying people's access might be affected by their political or religious beliefs.

Tea party speakers recounted their experiences with the IRS in a meeting carried live on a website. Cincinnati leader George Brunemann said he and his wife were audited after she became a tea party group treasurer.

Former Ohio Liberty Coalition leader Tom Zawistowski of Kent said the IRS should be abolished, and he urged activists to tell their friends and neighbors that the IRS probe is important to all of them.

"We're all tea partiers now, aren't we?" Zawistowski said.

Russell Hudson, 69, a retired steelworker who came to the meeting from Trenton, about an hour's drive away, said he was concerned about the IRS' conduct.

"It's crazy. It defies imagination," he said.

The Alaska Republican Party's State Central Committee voted Saturday in Homer to uphold two decisions that left the party without a clear leader for more than a month. Former party chairs Russ Millette and Debbie Brown each appealed complaints to the committee but failed to overturn the decisions -- neither of them will hold the top spot.

Instead, standing chairman Peter Goldberg, who has been accused of trying to purge the party of Christians, has permanently taken the position.

In choosing Goldberg, the central committee determined party rules had been followed when booting Brown and Millette.
