Jesse Daniels charge of child endangerment for corralling children suspected of vandalism in closet

CLYDE, New York - a man who says that he saw four guys vandalizing his father-in-law's House has been charged with child endangerment after the pens in a closet until the police arrived.

Jesse Daniels was charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child after that authorities say that you interrupted the vandalism in the empty House in the village of Wayne County of Clyde, halfway between Rochester and Syracuse.

Daniels, 53, told WHAM-TV in Rochester who heard knocking from the House of the night of June 8 next. The House is empty while Daniels renew it for his father-in-law.

Daniels said that they were to investigate while his wife called 911. He said he found four children, ages 8 and 10, in the interior with hammers. He took a hammer one, then stuck the boys in a closet until officers arrived, he said.

"I was lucky that they were in that room had a closet, so I put them in the closet," he said. "" "Said," Hey, guys stay here until the police come, period. ""

His parents, said Daniels handled boys roughly and threatened with a hammer.

The damage to the page holes in walls, broken Windows and graffiti derogatory to women painted on the walls. Daniels estimates that the damage to the property of his father in law exceeds $40,000.

He said that he believed that the boys committed vandalism in retaliation for the wife of Daniels saying earlier in the day to stay out of the property of the couple.

The boys have been accused of theft and criminal damage. Their cases are being handled in the Wayne County Family Court.

Paul Bowler, father of two of the boys, told the station that there are no excuses for the actions of their children.

"I understand that they were in the are bad, but there are other ways to handle it", said. "(Daniels) knew who were children. It is not as if they were foreigners. Send to children at home and then call the police. "Do not sit there and they haunt them and tell them you're going to hit their skulls with a hammer."

Bowling player, said Daniels grabbed the neck of one of his sons and left a mark. He said that his boys are traumatized and Daniels should have faced more charges.

Daniels counters trying to protect his family.

Daniels is due back in court this month. It is not immediately clear if he has an attorney.

The Richard Healy Wayne County District Attorney told the station that the incident is still under investigation.

Los Angeles school vandalism includes swastikas, possible threat to President Obama

Leichman high school officials woke up to a surprise tomorrow on Monday, when it was discovered that the Los Angeles institution for students with special needs had suffered the weekend.

The vandalism contained a series of offensive messages of graffiti, including a statement that read "Kill Obama?" and was perceived by some as a threat against the President. In addition, there were representations of swastikas, pumps and anti-mensajes of the Police Department of Los Angeles, as a sign of KTLA-TV video.

While President Obama was in Los Angeles on Friday, it is not clear if the vandalism is related to their visit, according to LAist.

The school serves several hundred young people with disabilities between the ages of 14 and 22, but the students did not have to see the vandalism because it is summer school and has not yet begun summer school, reports KTLA. Officials discovered the damage on his arrival early in the morning.

"Is a horrible thing walk on any campus and see an example of the kind of hatred that exists in the world," said the Director of the school of Giovanni Triviño, by the Los Angeles Daily News.

In total, expected that the damage to the school costs about $2,500, advises a local CBS outlet.

The school, which has a surveillance camera, was also vandalized in May. The Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles school police are investigating both events, according to the Daily News of Los Angeles.
