How does Bethenny Frankel balance her work and home life?

The former "Real Housewife" stopped by Fox's new talk show "The Real" Thursday to dish on life as a busy single mom.

“It’s just like Nike says -- you just do it. You have to be organized, what choice do you have?" she said. "You don’t complain, you don’t explain."

Frankel, who filed for divorce from Jason Hoppy in January 2013, also told the hosts that she makes sure to devote all of her attention to daughter Brynn when she is done working.

“When I’m working I’m working and then the second I’m not working I’m with my daughter and that’s all I want to do," she said. "It’s just quality time. You’re not on your BlackBerry, you’re not distracted, you’re not worried about nonsense.”

Sandra Bullock and her ex-husband Jesse James had adopted a baby boy, Louis Bardo Bullock, in January 2010, but kept the news a secret until after the Academy Awards. When her marriage famously unraveled following James' multiple infidelities, Bullock decided to adopt Louis as a single mother and raise him on her own. "You wake up, you feed, you burp, you play, you do laundry," she told People magazine in April 2010. "I'm still in that stage where I'm just amazed with him and at life."

Twice-divorced Madonna has four children -- two biological and two she adopted. She had her first child, Lourdes, with fitness instructor Carlos Leon in 1996. Prior to marrying her second husband, (first was Sean Penn in 1985) Guy Ritchie, in December 2000, she and the British director had their first child together, Rocco. They decided to adopt a Malawian baby, David, six years later in October 2006. After divorcing Ritchie in December 2008, Madonna adopted another Malawian child as a single mother in June 2009. "The best way to teach [my children] about sharing and giving is to do those things myself and set an example," Madonna told Parenting magazine.

Liv Tyler took a two-year break from show business after her split from British rocker Royston Langdon in May 2008. She admitted to having a "rough couple of years" following the birth of her son, Milo, and a heartbreaking divorce. She opened up to Bust magazine in March 2011 about raising her then six-year-old son as a single mother. "Milo and I have been in such transition -- I've been rebuilding and trying to be patient. And I've just put all of my focus on that," she said. "Because I can't go to work and be happy unless he's happy and feels secure." Tyler also recently attended the Alexandra McQueen Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

"Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi gave birth to her daughter, Krishna, in February 2010, but remained tight lipped on the identity of her baby's father. It was later revealed that venture capitalist Adam Dell fathered Krishna, though Lakshmi reportedly wanted nothing to do with him, preferring to raise her daughter on her own. In March 2012, Dell was granted expanded visitation rights and legal recognition of his paternity of Krishna. Lakshmi opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about motherhood in April 2011, saying, "In small ways and big ways it changes every aspect of your life. Everything is better and more meaningful. Motherhood is a very humbling experience."

Michelle Williams tragically became a single mother when her on-again, off-again beau, Heath Ledger, passed away of an accidental drug overdose. The pair had a daughter, Matilda, in October 2005. In her first interview since Ledger's January 2008 death, Williams told Nightline's Cynthia Mcfadden in December 2010 that she tries to provide a normal life for her child, out of the spotlight. "It is of more importance to me then anything else in my life and I would rearrange anything to make that possible," she said. "If something starts to encroach on that then it's going to be removed from the equation."

Fashion designer Tory Burch split from her second husband, venture capitalist Chris Burch, in 2006. She and Burch have three sons, whom she described as "the light of my life" to NBC in January 2010. Being a working mother is her "biggest challenge," she said, "But obviously being a mom comes first and everything else comes after that, and that really is what matters."

In March 2003, "Desperate Housewives" star Teri Hatcher filed for divorce from Jon Tenney, her husband of nearly nine years and the father of her daughter, Emerson Rose. In her 2006 book, "Burnt Toast: And Other Philosophies of Life," Hatcher included a dedication to Emerson, who's now 14 years old. "To Emerson, whose birth was the sole source of my personal evolution over the last seven years. Thank you for giving my life meaning." When Emerson was 12, Hatcher solidified her status as a cool mom by introducing the tween to Justin Bieber. "I scored some big points with her," she told People in June 2010.

Heidi Klum and Seal shocked fans in January 2012 when they announced their separation after seven years of marriage. The couple have four children together: Leni, 7 Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2. The supermodel recently told Stylelist about her low-key plans for her first Mother's Day as a single mom: "To just be with my kids. We go out a lot. We went to The Ivy just last week, and it's a lot with four kids. So sometimes it's nice to just be home and hang out by the pool."

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced their split in July 2011. The former couple are parents to four-year-old twins, Max and Emme, who famously joined J.Lo in a Gucci fashion campaign when they were two and a half years old. Lopez, who moved on with backup dancer Casper Smart after the split, recently opened up about the possibility of having more children, E! Online reported. "It would be a blessing for me," Lopez said. "But right now I'm focused on doing it right with [Max and Emme]."

On ABC's "Modern Family", Sophia Vergara plays a feisty Colombian woman raising her son in a blended family. Her real life isn't so different -- she had a son, Manolo, when she was 19 years old with her childhood sweetheart, whom she subsequently divorced. "I always tried to do the best for my kid," Vergara told People magazine in November 2009. She is engaged to Onion Crunch owner Nick Loeb.

Peggy Wallace Kennedy, daughter of George Wallace, lives in the shadow of the father

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — 50-year-old Peggy Wallace Kennedy has lived in the shadow of his father, the Governor of Alabama George C. Wallace, when he stood in a door and attempted to stop two black students integrating the University of Alabama.

That single episode in the civil rights movement us - his infamous "stand in the door of the school" - attached an asterisk to his name, he says. It is a permanent marking that can not delete never, despite their own history as a moderate Democrat who supported early candidate Barack Obama for President in 2008.

"If you're the daughter of George Wallace, think that the asterisk will always be there. '"Oh, his father standing at the door of the school,' "he said in a recent interview.

Kennedy was only 13 at the time. His mother, Lurleen Wallace, had disappears you to a cabin of fishing from the Lake with his three brothers that day, thus would be far the wrenching historical drama in which her father had a prominent role.

George Wallace, a pragmatic politician and a populist, may or not have been a true believer in the segregation - while it was appointed in 1963 with a promise: '' segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever".

On June 11, 1963, he stood at the door of the Auditorium of the University of Alabama Foster that Vivian Malone Jones and James Hood enroll for classes.

Wallace stepped aside after President John F. Kennedy federalized the Alabama National Guard.

Jones and campaign registered, and Wallace became a national political figure that would be candidate for President the following year.

On the 50th anniversary, all the major players - Wallace, Jones, campaign and Nicholas Katzenbach, representative of the administration of Kennedy in Tuscaloosa - are dead.

Wallace died in 1998 after serving four terms as Governor, but he has never discussed the events of June 11, 1963, with his daughter.

Kennedy says that their motivations will then remain a mystery for her so far.

"Never he talked with me about it. Even I do not know that talking with my mother about it. I never heard them talk about the school gates are in everything, "said Kennedy.

Looking back 50 years, Peggy Kennedy recalled that she was a young teenager who was terrified of what could happen to his father in the midst of the tensions and the violence of the conflict. And as the years passed, somehow is only an issue that could not discuss.

"When the issue was raised was brushed aside," told a hearing last March.

It is speculated that perhaps he was keeping only a political promise, but she cannot say with certainty.

Culpepper Clark, author of the 1993 book "the school gate: Last Stand of segregation at the University of Alabama," believes daughter of Wallace is correct in its assumption.

"Clearly strengthened Wallace e identified with white voters in Alabama and kept a promise", Clark said.

Kennedy said that the actions of his father were difficult to understand because his mother, who also became Governor, raised not to think she was better than anyone else.

"At" that time that simply did not understand why he just stand and two African-Americans have not entering a University, he said.

But he said the episode marked a change irreversible for the Wallace family.

"That day was the end of our hopes of a simple life. It was really the beginning of our life under the shadow of the door of the school for the rest of my life."

He visited his ill father frequently in the last few years before his death. The conversations were short, due to his health, and he wanted to talk about policy, not the past. After all, "politics was the family business," he said.

But he never discovered why he felt that he had to stand in front of the school. "Definitely I regret that," said.

Know about Kennedy is that his father changed after an assassination attempt during his presidential campaign of 1972. A bullet fired by Arthur Bremer - whose self-proclaimed intention was to assassinate the then President Richard Nixon or Wallace - Wallace left paralyzed from the waist down and constant pain for the rest of his life.

"What it did for him, he realized how much he had made the African-American community suffer and realized that I needed to be forgiven, truly forgiven," said.

Wallace went to black churches to apologize for his segregationist views and he won a fourth term as Governor in 1982 with wide support from black. It honored Jones and campaign and welcomed leaders of civil rights as Jesse Jackson at his home in Montgomery.

"He was a different man when he died. I assure you of, "said Kennedy.

Kennedy is also a different woman. For years, stayed in the background as her husband, lawyer Mark Kennedy, rose through the hierarchy political up to a justice in the Supreme Court of Alabama. Only after his retirement she step from the shadows, first by supporting Obama in 2008. He told voters that United States had still healing and "with Barack Obama to direct our power to heal will we turn."

Then in 2009, he attended events in Selma "Bloody Sunday" - remember the day in 1965 when police of the State of his father attacked voting rights of protesters at the bridge of Edmund Pettus.

In Selma, she introduced Attorney General Eric Holder - Jones's brother-in-law - and they shared a desire that Jones had lived to see the time. Then marched through the bridge hand-in-hand with Congressman John Lewis of Georgia, who was brutally beaten during the "Bloody Sunday".

Kennedy said that she crossed bridges many in his life, but none as important as that one.

Last March, he joined Lewis and other members of Congress in a pilgrimage of civil rights at the University of Alabama, and walked through the doors of wood and glass which his father tried to block. The daughter of the Governor, who promised "segregation forever" saw a campus with a student body that is nearly 13 percent black.

Kennedy, 63, said that she has tried in recent years to get out of the shadow of the door of the school and show that families can change.

"Perhaps someone gave a glimmer of hope," said.

Tori is a terrible argument. But that is not the only crime. Alexa also begins each morning with a cup of coffee, Tori says that she has been doing since Alexa was nine months old. Entertainment Weekly was delighted to have this undeniable "guilty pleasure" in the air.

Interestingly, the combination of sugar and caffeine must have worked. Alexa was crowned "Mini Supreme" in its parade. But an endorsement of any power of these things is by no means children.
